Overview
RallyCue is developed by Tolga Cankurt. It is a private tennis journal for iPhone. You do not need an account. Your match history, observations and preparation are stored and processed on your device. RallyCue does not automatically send those records to the developer or to a RallyCue server.
Information on your device
RallyCue stores the information you enter, including opponent names or team labels, match dates, scores, surfaces, match formats, conditions, observations and optional notes. It also stores identifiers, edit dates and settings needed to keep your records consistent. Records imported from an earlier RallyCue version may include preserved migration information. You can use a nickname for an opponent and leave optional notes empty.
How your information is used
The app uses your local records to show your match history, rival memory, head-to-head results, progress and preparation reminders. Its observation and pattern rules run on your iPhone. RallyCue does not send your records to a remote AI service. The reminders reflect what you recorded; they are not independently measured performance data or a coaching diagnosis.
No account, advertising or tracking
RallyCue has no account registration, advertising, tracking SDK or mandatory analytics service. It does not sell your match information or use it for targeted advertising. The core app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or health records.
Device backups
Your iPhone's own backup or device-transfer settings may include RallyCue app data. Apple and any backup provider you use handle those copies under their own terms and settings. Local-first storage does not prevent a device backup from containing your data. RallyCue does not provide an automatic account-based sync or developer-hosted restore service.
Exports and imports
Exporting a backup is your choice. A normal export contains your current match records, including opponent names and private notes. The portable JSON backup is readable data; RallyCue does not add a password or encrypt the exported file itself. Choose a storage location you trust. If you choose a cloud file provider or send the file to someone, that provider or recipient can receive it. Importing reads the backup you select and displays a preview before merging records; it does not upload the file to the developer.
Original recovery archives
If you have migrated records or imported a recovery backup, RallyCue may preserve the original imported data separately for recovery. The explicitly labeled recovery export can contain earlier versions of records or matches you later removed from your current history. Normal exports do not include that separate recovery archive. Correcting or deleting a current match does not rewrite preserved original archives, previously exported files or existing device backups.
Match cards and sharing
Sharing a match card is optional. The card includes the result, score, date and surface. The opponent's name is omitted unless you choose to include it. Your reflections and preparation notes are not included in the card. The app or service you select in the system share sheet handles the shared image under its own policies. Sharing a backup file is different: it includes the record details described above.
Retention, correction and deletion
Current match records stay on your device until you change or remove them, remove the app's data, or replace the device storage. You can edit or delete a match from its story. Deletion removes it from the current history and recalculated summaries. The app keeps the latest deleted match locally for Undo; this copy is replaced by the next deletion or removed when restored. Preserved original databases and recovery archives can remain on the device. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local app data through iOS. Existing device backups, exported files and copies shared elsewhere must be managed separately. RallyCue does not promise forensic erasure of storage.
Support you choose to request
If you contact the developer, the message, reply address and any attachments you choose to send are received for handling your request. Include only what is needed, and remove opponent names and private notes from screenshots where possible. A full match backup is not required for general support. Support correspondence is used to respond, investigate reported issues and maintain necessary support records, not for advertising. It is retained only as needed for those purposes or applicable obligations. You can ask about, correct or request deletion of correspondence through the support contact. The developer cannot retrieve records that remain solely on your iPhone.
External pages and service providers
You can read the bundled privacy and help information without a network connection. Opening a public support or privacy page is an explicit action and can disclose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and browser request, to the chosen host. These supplied pages contain no analytics scripts, remote fonts or embedded third-party content. Email, hosting, device-backup, file-storage and sharing providers handle the information they receive under their own policies.
Security and your choices
RallyCue uses the iOS app container and local storage rather than a developer account or server. Protect your iPhone and device backups, and treat exported files as private. No system can guarantee absolute security. You control the match information you enter, when you export it, which destination receives it and whether you share an opponent's name on a card.
Children
RallyCue is a general tennis journal and is not designed as a children's social service. It has no public profiles or messaging. The core app does not collect children's personal information from the device. If personal information is sent to support and needs attention or removal, contact the developer.
Changes to this policy
This policy describes RallyCue's local-first release. If a future version introduces a materially different data flow, its policy and any required choices will be updated. The last-updated date identifies the current policy text.
